To put it more accurately, Brass2black is a place where aesthetic care, mechanical wellness and passion meet to cherish your rangefinder Leica’s and a few other timeless devices.

The specificity of Brass2Black: 
 

  • Two-component paints, that are not "ceramic" paints.

  • Micro-bodywork techniques.

  • Electrochemical de-chroming of brass parts.

  • Anodizing of aluminum parts for some lenses parts

  • The feel, behavior and aging of our paints are similar to those of the original paints/lacquers on "original" bodies.
    With use, the brass will appear and get patina.
